Since 2015, I have been a Computer & Media Technician at Austin College in Sherman, Texas.
In addition to standard helpdesk duties, I assist in overseeing audio/video needs both in the classroom and for many campus events.
My specialty within the department is building, programming, and troubleshooting Crestron systems that are being installed across campus.
Prior to my position at Austin College was my college career. I started my college career at Texas State Technical College - Waco, where recieved an A.A.S. in Computer Maintenance Technology and a Certificate in Home Technology Integration.
In Computer Maintenance, I learn about command line, computer hardware, operating systems, netwroking, and electronic.
Home Technology Integration was centered around audio / video, controlling applicances and electronics using X10 technology, and wiring.
At Grayson College I recieved a A.S. in Computer Science. While attending Grayson, I learned programming basics, C++, Java, and machine language.
I also became intrigued by Calculus and Calculus Based Physics, which sparked my interest in math and physics.
At Texas A&M University - Commerce, I graduated with a dual B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics.
During my studies I learned about networking theory, basic cisco networking, LabView, discrete math, and statistics.
